Will Members please be aware that King Lear Lake is mainly clear of weed and with care Members should be able begin to start sailing again.
Christmas Dinner on the 14th December - 2022
The Christmas Dinner was held at the Thurmaston Working Mens Club and was attended by Members, their wives/partners. The event commenced with a welcome drink and chat amongst those attending. The excellent meal started with pate with the usual accompaniments, followed by a main meal of roast beef. Christmas pudding and cream followed by mints, mince pies and coffee.
To round off the evening one or two part games followed by a quiz was held, the event being enjoyed by all.
The whole excellent event being organised by our Club Secretary.
Picnic on the 17 June 2022
A picnic and sail was held on the 17 June when Members and wives/parteners attended. The day was sunney and warm and was enjoyed by all.
